We all Matter
Why must family hurt one another with dreadful words building up anger and resentment as each day goes by. Breaking down each other still they can no longer feel any love in fear of it being squashed and thrown aside met with only hateful remarks bye and bye. Yet these people are told to hide away in order not to inflict pain on the person who caused them the endless torment. For they are family and so they get a free pass as many would say but they have gone astray for what the family do often hurt more even without a blow. Even children who are often cast aside experience this pain and they can not getaway for what're they to do with the parents always lurking around the corner? If it's only verbal they're often belittled children and adults alike for words don't hurt as much as stones some fools would say when in reality words can cut deeper then any wound and last much longer. If I could go anywhere or do anything, I would… Walk around in the mindscape fair Lose my troubles there Meet the egos from canon and afar Find my worth on the city's tops. Practice magic Red a glow In the circus tent Where the one in the cat mask roams. Hear the applause Shouting my name Feel one with The circus fame. Then go watch a show Where the silent one roams Give him applause Make him grin Learn sign language To communicate with him. After the show Help the doctor With the kids Running to and fro Make them laugh As a needle makes its path. As night wans on Follow the smoke To fire warmth Where sits a man Saddened by the past Wearing a cap Losing hope. Sit beside him Remind him of his worth For the egos holds him dear And without him A missing link would appear. Play a game Of tea bag toss Still the arm Is at a loss Though he wins It is worth it in the end For he is smiling once again. Once a new day Dawns again Climb the city top Find the hero Dressed in
